Twilight Wellness Evenings

In-person evenings focusing on health, sound, and stillness

As the day softens and the stars begin to show, we gather for an evening of deep restoration and shared wisdom.

Our Twilight Wellbeing Evenings are relaxed events designed to blend community, comfort, and expert knowledge. We invite guest speakers and health professionals to share practical insights on vitality, physical health, and living well.

This is a dedicated, welcoming space to step away from the noise of a busy week, recharge, and gain valuable tools for your health in an atmosphere of quiet calm. Rather than formal lectures, these sessions are down-to-earth conversations tailored to fit seamlessly into your lifestyle, ensuring every insight shared feels grounded, accessible, and practical for everyone.

Upcoming Twilight Evening:

An evening of insight and stillness in aid of Katharine House Hospice

Our first Twilight Evening on the 16th of July is a gathering very close to my heart. We are coming together to raise vital funds for Katharine House, a local hospice that has provided such profound and valuable support to me and many others in our community. Having experienced their care first hand, I am honoured to dedicate this evening to their incredible work.

The Evening Flow:

We shall begin our time together with a peaceful welcome as the sun begins to set.

I am truly honoured to be joined by our first guest speaker, Mel Cotterill. Mel will be sharing a short talk on her vital role as a Lymphoedema Clinical Nurse Specialist at Katharine House, offering us a deeper understanding of the specialised care and dedication that goes into supporting patients at the hospice.

Following Mel, we are privileged to welcome our second guest speaker, Cristian Lopez. Cristian brings over thirty years of experience in the internal healing arts, including Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Dao Yin, Kung Fu, Meditation, Tui Na (Chinese massage), and other Chinese internal health methods. He will be introducing us to the profound principles of these traditional practices and how they can be used to naturally support the body's internal health and vitality.

Once we have heard from our speakers, the wonderful Grace Moore will lead us through a fifteen-to-twenty-minute meditation. This is a dedicated, down-to-earth time to settle into your body and quiet the mind, creating a bridge of calm that allows you to fully absorb the insights of the evening.

To conclude our time together, we shall share a moment of warmth and connection with hot drinks and delicious cakes. It is a relaxed time to sit, reflect, and enjoy the company of others in the soft twilight before heading home.

Joining Us

To support the incredible, vital work of Katharine House, our local cancer hospice that is deeply close to my own heart following my own cancer journey, all donations from this evening will go directly and fully to the charity. We suggest a donation of £25 per person to help us back their beautiful mission. However, we are a fully inclusive space and believe that community and wellness should be open to everyone. If the suggested amount is not within your means right now, please simply contribute whatever you can comfortably afford. Your presence is what matters most, and every single contribution helps wrap our local hospice in love and support.

In Aid of Terrible Titties & Other Bitties

On the 17th of September, our second fundraising evening will be held in support of an extraordinary local charity, Terrible Titties & Other Bitties. This organisation was founded by two remarkable women, Natasha and Rachael, with a mission to provide holistic support to those navigating breast cancer. Though Natasha is sadly no longer with us, her legacy lives on through the incredible services and therapies they continue to offer our community.

The Gift of Stillness

By joining us on the 17th of September, you are helping to fund the therapies and holistic care that make such a difference to local people. It will be a night to honour those we have lost, support those currently in treatment, and find our own moments of stillness in a supportive, loving environment. Please know that men and women are welcome to join us this evening.

Natasha and Rachael created something truly special out of their own experiences. I am proud to use our Twilight Evening to help carry Natasha’s light forward and support the beautiful work Rachael continues to do for all of us.

The Evening Flow:

This charity is close to my heart because they understand that healing is about more than just the clinical journey. They provide a huge amount of holistic support, offering comfort and care when people need it most. Our evening together will be a tribute to that spirit of resilience and community.

Just as with our July gathering, this will be an evening of gentle transition. We shall come together in the soft twilight to share in a space of peace, reflection, and connection. It is an opportunity for us to support the vital work that Rachael and her team continue to do, ensuring that no one has to walk their path alone.
